What fraction of Jayne’s original pizza remains?

After eating 2 slices, only 6 slices were left.

 

Her brother each 2/3 of the 6.

 

(2/3) * 6 = 4

 

 

After her brother ate his share, only 4 slices are left.

 

Fraction of the original pizza left is

 

4 slices / 8 slices = 1 / 2

 

 

Half of the original pizza remains.
