Remember that "slope" is often called "rise over run" because it measures the increase in y-values divided by the increase in x-values. Also remember that lines that are parallel have the same slope.
Applying those items to vectors, two vectors that are parallel have the same slope:
q/r = 5/1
They may have different length, but the relationship will always be: q=5r.
All the vectors have the direction given by slope = 5/1.
