It looks as if you've encountered one of the difficulties of home schooling without adequate resources.

 

Exactly what is the problem?  is it the square of .07?  That is .0049.  You just note that the number .07 is multiplying itself; .07 times .07 is 49 but there are FOUR decimal places (two from each factor), so you move the decimal point following 49 FOUR places to the left.

 

Or is it .07 times 2,?  The 2 probably should have been elevated to be an exponent.  Your can express that .07^2 if unable to place the exponent ABOVE the .07
