123 multiplied 456 times is the same as 123 + 123 + 123 + 123 + ....  until there are 456 of them.

123 raised to the 456 power is the same as 123(123)(123)(123)(123)... until there are 456 of them.

 

The second is significantly larger than than first.

     123^456   = 9.92500688E952

On a TI-84 calculator, this causes OVERFLOW.

 

Let Z be your number 123^456; then log Z = 456log(123) =952.9967308, approx.

so Z = (10^.9967308)(10^952) = 9.925 * 10^952.

 

That is, APPROXIMATELY 9.925 & then shift the decimal point 952 places to the right (you'll need a lot of extra zeros!).

 

If you don't mind, I'd like some details:

1.  What level of math are you in at the present time?

2.  Who is paying $55 for this?  (I'd like such a sugar daddy myself!)
