Anna owes her mother $150. Anna has determined she can pay her mother $5 per month. Write an equation that represents the total amount of money ,m,Anna owes her mother after w weeks?

This isn't really a fair question. Many people use that 4 weeks equal one month, when that is no an accurate statement.

But if we assume this to be true, anna owes $1.25 per week which will be reduced from her $150 debt. So since she pays 1.25 for each week.....and there are w weeks, you'd get.

M=150-1.25w
