My daughter is interested in learning Japanese language, she is in 8th grade and just began self learning using "Living Language Japanese". We live in South Elgin. I was wondering whether it is possible to have a trial session.

I am interested in bi-weekly tutor sessions to start with my daughter. She is 16, but will be 17 by the time we set up her tutoring! This is her 2nd year of Japanese and I want to ensure her success.

I have been wanting to learn Japanese for years and am finally ready to do so. I am a true beginner with no previous education in Japanese language.
A few reasons why I want to learn the language are:
1. I practice a Japanese SGI-Nichiren Buddhism and know a lot of Japanese speakers and would like to converse with them in Japanese.
2. I have friends that I want to visit in Japan and I would love to converse with them speaking Japanese only.
3. I love the way the language makes me feel. Listening to the Japanese language soothes my nerves and inspires an inner calm.
With that said, I would love to set a session to get started on my Japanese language journey.

I am looking for a Japanese tutor for my son. He has worked with a Japanese tutor before, but is still pretty much a beginner speaker. We are in Lafayette.
