I'm looking at your guitar and music production lessons.
I have been playing guitar for 35 years, and am fairly decent. I have some real gaps in my abilities but can generally play.
But the twist is that I've also over time been putting together a real studio and would like to write and record for the first time in several years. I own a lot of mid-to-high-end gear, and have purchased every instrument that would plug the gaps to keep me from having any limitations. For instance, I own 18 guitars, most for specific purposes, as well as three basses, a ukelele, a mandolin, a mandolin guitar, a reasonably capable (but dated) keyboard, and a top of the line Roland V-Drums set that I've added a number of extra pieces to. I've also recently moved from the approach of having an amp with effects built in to having a clean one with a pedal setup. I've also bought some good recording equipment and have started to learn Ableton (after having a bit of skill in Audition and ProTools).

I am interested in the beginner class of the classic guitar. I am seeking a tutor who can do home lessons in my place (usually on Saturday/Sunday).

I am a pediatrician and am looking for in-person beginner guitar lessons - I'd like to get to intermediate level to be able to play a range of songs to sing for/with my daughter who is turning 4. I took piano and violin as a kid, and I currently sing in a choir, so I have a good background.

I wanted to reach out about guitar lessons for my daughter. She is a beginner and we currently live in Irvine and want to do in person lessons.

I'm a 53-year-old who has been playing guitar for...well, I've had a guitar since I was a teen, but only really started practicing about 12 years ago. I play a little every day, though my guitar time isn't very structured, and while I slowly progress, I'd like to be a better player. I write songs some as well and have some knowledge of theory. I usually play an acoustic, but have an electric guitar as well.
I have an idea of what I'm looking for and was wondering if you'd be open to it. Ideally, I'd like someone who could come to me one evening, every other week for 45-60 minutes. It would be a lesson, yes, but I'd like to spend the majority of the time having the experience of making music. I'd like to learn songs (which I'm terrible at on my own) and learn to be more musical by gaining experience playing together.
Is that something you'd be open to as a teacher?
