Our son is 3.5 years old and is really excited by snare drums especially in the context of pipes & drum bands and marching bands. It may just be us as his parents but we think he has pretty decent timing for a kid his age haha. We have some simple drums and a few drum pads at home and he enjoys following along to videos of marching bands so we're hoping to find an instructor to help foster his interest and give him some instruction (as much as is realistic for a 3.5 yo). We're not sure how he would take lessons but we'd like to try one class to see how it goes.
