I am a full-time professional Master's level tutor providing customized, comprehensive instruction and support. I specialize in languages, linguistics, study skills, and standardized test tutoring. Whether we are working on Spanish, French, English, or SAT/ACT/GRE, my goal is the same: to help my students succeed. –About Me–
I am a full-time professional Master's level tutor providing customized, comprehensive instruction and support. I specialize in languages, linguistics, study skills, and standardized test tutoring. Whether we are working on Spanish, French, English, or SAT/ACT/GRE, my goal is the same: to help my students succeed. Because I customize lessons to each of my students' needs to help them realize their potential, my students consistently see tangible improvements. An improvement of at least one or two letter grades (sometimes more) is typical.

–Standardized Tests–
Just as I love helping others succeed, I love standardized tests. I always have. As strange as that may sound, it's true. I see standardized tests not as a trial or a burden, but as an opportunity to put our talent on display. And as a tutor and counselor, I see myself as uniquely equipped to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, develop a strategic plan, and provide the specific tools and training needed to reveal and refine students' abilities.

–Languages–
Over the past 15 years I have made multiple trips to both Spanish and French speaking countries, served as an interpreter, and completed a dual Foreign Language degree (French and Spanish) at West Virginia University, with an emphasis in grammar and pronunciation. For the last 8 years, I have been helping students throughout Central Florida and online increase their language proficiency, boost their confidence, and improve their grades.

I also provide comprehensive English, ESL, and Linguistics tutoring. I have extensive experience in English language and literature. In addition to the research and writing I've done in English while completing my two Master's degrees, I've been working with students in various settings over the past ten years to help them improve their own English (and TOEFL scores), including two years as a High School ESL Coordinator/Teacher.

Great ACT/SAT reading, writing, science tutor!!!

Nathan has done a great job with our daughter trying to help improve her ACT/SAT score. She has been completing practice tests upon his requests for homework each week and is now only getting one wrong answer. He is very passionate about what he does. My daughter currently does 2 hours a week and we will hopefully improve our ACT/SAT reading score by 30% on the next test day. We will continue to work with Nathan to hopefully achieve our goal with her ACT/SAT scores.

Appreciate Nathan's patient and deliberate approach to tutoring. He has helped our 9th grade daughter gain confidence in her Spanish class.
