I specialize in tutoring AP Macro & Micro Economics. I have tutored many different Social Studies topics. I taught AP Macro and Micro Economics for 7 years. I have been teaching for 13 years, subjects include World History, Geography, U.S. History, Economics, AP Macro and Micro Economics, Government, and Global Studies. I am a passionate communicator with a diverse history of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds from all over the world. I have lived overseas and visited 8 other countries around the world. I have been leading and teaching youth in some form or fashion for over 14 years.

My undergraduate degree was Social Studies Comprehensive - which means I am knowledgeable in all social studies topics; for example, U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, and more.

I am a father of 4 children. I am a Pastor/Elder and Bible Study leader at Rolling Hills Church in Platteville. Regardless of where I go teaching is my passion. I have taught U.S. History for 8 years. I taught from the Civil War Era to the Present Era. I am experienced in tutoring U.S. History students in person and online to help improve their grades. My B.A. Degree is Social Studies Comprehensive with an emphasis in US History. This makes me certified to teach all Social Studies subjects. I currently teach, World History, Geography, and Global Studies. I also have multiple years of teaching Government, Economics, AP Micro and Macro Economics and U.S. History.

I am a Pastor/Elder with Rolling Hills Church in Platteville Wisconsin. I preach from the pulpit part time and help lead a college aged Bible study through Rolling Hills Church. I also lead high school Bible studies.

Patient Tutor!

Philip has provided tutoring to my son to prepare for AP Economics. Prior to starting the class, my son was an average student. After only two months of intensive prep, he was able to grasp all the concepts and ended up with a 4 at Both his AP Micro and Macro tests. That in itself is a feat considering that we were hit by Covid in March, that my son had to do both micro and macro economics in one course, and all that only in sophomore year. Phillip’s patience and perfect understanding of the curriculum definitely are the reasons why our son did good on his AP testS. Try him out. You will not regret it.
