Nice to meet you! My name is Ben, I'm an EFl/ESL teacher and writing tutor from Seattle, Washington, USA. I love learning and teaching languages. I have studied both French and Mandarin Chinese, so I understand how challenging (and rewarding!) intensive language study can be. I first became a tutor during my university studies, when I worked in the writing center at my college. Every time I helped a student make a breakthrough in their writing, or complete an assignment they didn't think they could do, I left with a profound sense of satisfaction. Most of my clients were international students, so the tutoring sessions included English language instruction as well. Now that I have a few years of tutoring experience, and my EFL teaching credentials, I am excited to expand my online tutoring practice with WyzAnt, and help my students become confident, capable English speakers. Whether you need to improve your English for work, school, TOEFL, or anything else, I will build every lesson plan around your individual goals and interests.
