Starting as a child and having lived my entire adulthood in the arts, the most important truism I’ve learned: The only limitation is that of imagination.
Raised outside Chicago, I began acting and performing clown work at 12, doing every play my high school and later college chose to produce. Then I moved to Seattle and was involved in local fringe theatres including The Annex and NW Actors’ Studio for 6 years until, suddenly, a touring opportunity was offered with the renowned Missoula Children’s Theatre. Amazingly, I found myself crisscrossing all over the US and Canada, and then an overseas tour to South Korea, Japan, Hawaii and Guam bringing theatre to the world’s young!
Returning to Seattle radiating international inspiration, the next 4 years had me director of education at Stone Soup Theatre overseeing and vastly increasing audiences and student enrollment in roughly 60 productions and educational programs per years. Then yet another serendipitous opportunity presented itself: in 2010, I was invited by Charles Waxberg and the reputable Theatre9/12 to create and act as director of Y.E.S. at Theatre9/12, which would teach theatre to kids all over Seattle. In addition, I remain involved with Seattle professional theatre as Production Manager for Theatre9/12 hosted productions, and administrate the company Master Class.
Recently, after numerous inquires, I chose to expand my classroom work to offer private teaching. This way, I can tutor kids creativity and serve as a Creativity Counselor, if you will, with tailor-made lessons designed to ignite each young individual’s unique imagination, ingenuity, and artistry.
I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to be able to do something I love for so long, and even more to be able to share that joy with young actors.

As the 12 year old assistant to Chicago's renowned Mr. Magic, I was called on to introduce him and myself as his sidekick to public audiences. In college, I was often asked to warm up audiences pre-s

Public Speaking

Public Speaking

Acting is my bread and butter, but public speaking is a close cousin. It is much easier than acting as you can have your script in front of you. The trick is to know who you are talking to and what do you want from them. I make things fun and simple, focus on your objective and you won't have time to panic or get nervous.
Theater

Theater

I currently run a non-profit acting school for kids since 2011. Taught youths in the dramatic arts in many disciplines for over 20 years. Toured the country and parts of the Pacific Rim for 4 years where I taught drama overseas and performed plays with over 50,000 kids. I have been involved with and make my living in the arts for over 38 years and feel so incredibly lucky to love my job so much!
