I have a Bachelor of Music degree from UMass Lowell, a Master of Music Education degree from the Boston Conservatory, and I am currently pursuing an MA/PhD in Ethnomusicology from the University of Washington. I am also a certified teacher for music grades PreK-12. I have taught orchestra abroad in Kenya, and I have also taught music in public schools. I taught Music Theory and Ear Training at The Boston Conservatory, and I currently teach a course on American Pop Song at the University of Washington.
