Hi, My name is Sheila. I have always tutor kids. It is fun for me to assist students in learning. Math has become my specialty over the years but I can teach all the other subjects too. Here is what our routine would look like: First of all we will start with some quick exercises to prepare your brain for learning. Then we will dive into your lessons in a way that works best for you. We will practice learning strategies together and complete all your homework assignment quickly and efficiently. I am looking forward to the day when we can get started.

My MA is in psychology. I have taught 3rd through 6th grade. I was also a principal at a K - 12 grade school. We were a 4-day a week school so on Friday I would hold tutoring session for kids to catch up with their school work.

I am an outstanding math tutor because I have taught math for many many years from 3rd grade all the way up to the adult level. My students have mostly been those who have struggled with math and as a result decided they did not like math. But after I taught them math, made it fun, and helped them find success, they change their mind.

Please contact me to set up an initial interview so I can find out your needs and then I will propose a program for you. I am looking forward to our work together.

First lesson, our Daughter felt excited about learning!

Sheila made our daughter feel so comfortable and excited about learning, which is something we have had a hard time getting her motivated to do and that’s what we had been hoping for with starting lessons. We are looking forward to more lessons with Shelia and can’t wait to see how our daughter blossoms and grows with them!
