Hi, I’m Ariel! I’m a Philosophy major and English Writing minor at the University of Washington, where I’m an honors student and on the Dean’s List. I have a passion for helping students succeed academically and develop confidence in their abilities. With a strong background in writing, literature, and critical thinking, I specialize in tutoring K-12 and undergraduate students in humanities and writing, including essay writing, literature comprehension, and proofreading.
I’ve worked as an English tutor at Best in Class Education, where I led discussion groups, tutored students from elementary through high school, and graded assignments. My experience also includes creating engaging lesson plans and adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student. In addition to humanities, I’ve provided support for K-12 math, science, and English, helping students strengthen their foundational skills in these subjects.
Beyond tutoring, my work as a legal assistant and research assistant has sharpened my communication, organizational, and analytical skills, which I bring into my teaching approach. I believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging concepts. If you’re looking for a tutor who’s committed to your success, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to help you achieve your academic goals!
