My main draw to tutoring has been connecting students with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and passion for any and all subjects. Watching a student grow and succeed, especially after so much hard work on their end, is incredibly rewarding.
I've been tutoring and instructing classrooms since 2012! My experience began with Revolution Prep, teaching complete SAT and ACT classes as well as engaging in private tutoring for AP courses. Reaching over a thousand students, I was consistently rated a top tutor by students. I joined the Elite Education Institute of SF, where I was a dedicated math and physics instructor, both for test prep and high school advancement. Most recently, my work as a teaching assistant at the University of Washington leading physics labs, tutorials, and recitations earned me a First Year Excellence in Teaching Award.
Personal academic history:
A long time ago, in a state far away, I received undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Business Supply Chain Management. Later in life, growing ever passionate about learning, I returned to school to complete an M.S. in Physics. Now I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington combining laser physics, math, and machine learning in my research.
