Hello I'm Gunvant, currently a resident physician at University of Washington and graduate from UCSF medical school. I graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Biomedical Research. I am an experienced data scientist with multiple machine learning publications in high impact medical journals. I have been fortunate to have had many phenomenal instructors, and I constantly seek to improve my teaching style by learning from them. I aim to focus on building and reinforcing a strong foundation of knowledge in my students to facilitate their future success.

I have >400 hours of tutoring on Wyzant and other platforms over the last 4+ years, covering a wide variety of subjects ranging from computer science (Python, MATLAB, C++, C), MCAT (bio/biochem & chem/physics), medical school exams (STEP exams, USMLE), and high school biology, chemistry, and math (up to calculus). I am especially interested in tutoring students for the science sections of the MCAT, in which I received a perfect score in all the science sections.
