During our first few sessions, I will evaluate my students' math levels and learning styles to create a personalized lesson plan. This plan will be adjusted as needed to best fit each student's learning progress. I use diverse teaching methods because every student has different math levels, learning styles, and learning paces.

For students struggling with math, I will focus on rebuilding their fundamental knowledge and reinforcing any weak concepts. For those already excelling and aiming for perfect scores, I will teach advanced problem-solving techniques and strategies to tackle challenging or unfamiliar problems.

Most importantly, we all understand that practice is key to success in math. To achieve a high score, We must practice as many different types of problems as possible, increasing the likelihood of encountering similar or even identical problems on the actual test. Additionally, practicing deepens our memory and understanding, and sharpens our skills, enabling us to solve problems more quickly and accurately, even under significant stress.

I can teach lessons in northern accent(Standard Chinese) or southern accent as your choice. I was born and raised in Taiwan and came to Seattle at the age of 16. Therefore I am not only fluent in Mandarin Chinese, but also in English which help me teach more effectively.

I was really struggling in SAT Math, I was below average and was struggling to break the 500s. I was tutored by Charles Chiaho C. for six weeks and was able to improve my score to a 640, a total of 90 points in math only! He helped me to achieve something in six weeks that I had been trying to accomplish for 2 years. I am SO thankful I chose him to be my tutor. He was always patient no matter how many times I needed to review a subject (and boy did I need to). He is great at explaining difficult and tired subjects in a way that I can easily understand. I would 10/10 recommend him as a math tutor, and I have no doubt that if given more time, we could've raised my score even higher.

Amazing Algebra Tutor

Charles has been tutoring my son in Honors Algebra 2, and his ability is second to none. Of course, Charles knows the material, but his skill is really the ability to teach and even to inspire. My son now loves Algebra because of Charles, and he has learned so much from Charles's tutoring. If you want a math tutor, I would recommend Charles without hesitation. My son missed the first six weeks of school and when he came back, he was way behind in his Algebra 2 Honors course.
