Hey, I'm Alex! I graduated with a bachelor's in Applied Physics from the University of Washington and a bachelor's in Computer Science from Bellevue College. I’ve been working in the software industry over 4 years now and currently work for Amazon as a software engineer.

Hey, I'm Alex! I graduated with a bachelor's in Applied Physics from the University of Washington and a bachelor's in Computer Science from Bellevue College. I’ve been working in the software industry over 4 years now and currently work for Amazon as a software engineer.

During my time at university, I noticed that the classes I learned the most were the ones that had a hands-on approach to learning. I’ve found that working on real projects and solving problems is a great way to learn by doing. Whereas when I took courses that involved watching PowerPoint presentations for 60 minutes, I would forget everything an hour after class unless I took extensive notes. So I try to have my students be as hands-on as possible during our sessions. Let’s build something cool!

ALEX IS AAAMMAZING!!!

Such a fabulous experience with Alex! I am a professional learner and work in tech, but absolute beginner when it comes to programming, Python, and using data science tools. I came to Alex wanting to achieve some quick learning wins and focus on humble, but very meaningful projects to build skills to tackle my real world business puzzles. He did a fantastic job understanding my objectives and was excited to support in very hands on real world learning. By the end of the session, my IDE was set up, wrote code in Python to call an API, set up a table to receive the data in GCP, and identified key concepts to for me to dig into for homework. Booked our next session right away and CAN’T WAIT until then!! 😊
