Teaching Experience:
With over a decade of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to helping students thrive in their academic journeys. My passion for science and learning ignited my tutoring career during high school, and I've continued even through my undergraduate and graduate studies. Having earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, I further honed my teaching skills as a teaching assistant for a mechatronics course for two years.
What I Teach:
Math: Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Calculus
Science: Physics 1-2, Statics, Dynamics, Thermo 1-3, Fluids
CAD: SolidWorks, Fusion360
Coding: Python, C, C#/C++, Java, Arduino, Raspberry Pi
My Teaching Philosophy:
I understand that students often face time constraints, whether it's cramming for a quiz or racing to complete an assignment. My teaching philosophy is anchored in simplifying complex concepts, offering clarity, and reworking the concepts into relatable material. I believe in a direct, efficient approach that empowers students to grasp the core concepts, enabling them to tackle challenges independently. Ultimately, my goal is to not only boost grades but also instill confidence in students to approach problems with assurance, knowing that they have the tools to succeed.
When you hire a tutor, it's about more than just grades; it's about knowing you can solve the next problem. My tutoring approach is centered on empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary to not only excel academically but to face each academic challenge with confidence.
