When I was a young man I had difficulty in maintaining interest in writing, which lead to difficulty completing my assignments. I was blessed to find a tutor who embraced my creativity and we explored a variety of methods to add structure to my writing, creative or otherwise. I never felt that I was faulty or unintelligent while working with my tutor. Instead we explored tools that enabled me to use the skills I had, and strengthen the skills I lacked.

My tutor helped me to find the joy in writing. With practice, it has become my preferred way of artistic and intellectual expression. I later went on to get my degree in Creative Writing.
