Linear Algebra in a Month

I emailed Kyle with a month before my summer break was over and going into my sophomore fall term saying that I wanted help learning linear algebra. We met and immediately made significant progress and had the entire month planned out. For me the key was that he was able to keep myself more organized and get me through the rougher portions of linear algebra. He is a great tutor and I highly recommend him. Anyone who can help a student through an entire curriculum of linear algebra in one month is incredibly talented in my mind. If you are looking for an intelligent tutor to keep you organized and help you learn the material, then he is the perfect tutor for you.

Kyle has been a great resource for our daughter taking Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations. He is a great communicator and has been very helpful. He understands what she needs to review quickly so there is no time wasted with set up at the start of the lesson. She always comes out of the lesson feeling much more confident.

Kyle is the best. He has worked with my son for at least a year now and has pulled him through physics and his recent ACT with flying colors. My son ended the year with an A and feels like he aced the ACT - neither of which would have happened without Kyle's help. He not only understands all of the material, he can break it down to teach it so well, while adding lots of very helpful tips regarding how to generally organize yourself and manage the soft skills of success. Kyle has been tutoring my son for ~4 months in geometry, and he helped my son bring up his grade from a D to a B during that time. My son was resistant to getting a tutor, and was feeling very defeated with online school and the teaching approach of his geometry teacher -- but he immediately liked working with Kyle and realized how much he was helping him. Sometimes when my son was doing homework (outside of a tutoring session/on his own), he would text Kyle with a question and Kyle would usually answer immediately, so my son felt very supported. As a parent, I really appreciated my initial conversation with Kyle, which I thought would be ~10-15 minutes, but ended up being closer to an hour because Kyle was asking thoughtful and important questions about my son's learning style, etc. so that he could learn about him and consider best approach(es) for working together to set up a successful tutor/student relationship. Kyle also made sure to reach out to me via text/phone from time to time to touch base on how things were going. I was referred to Kyle through my friend whose daughter was getting tutored by him, who was referred by another friend whose kids have been tutored by him for years. All of these referrals gave rave reviews! Highly recommend Kyle!

Kyle was the most morally uplifting and considerate tutor from the beginning. I never realized how much of a difference some support from a tutor that believes in you could make. He is incredibly kind and quickly adapts to help students by not only teaching almost any subject you ask him about in a very comprehensive way that is tailored to the student's understanding, but also is very validating of a student and keeps their spirits up. Kyle is clearly very experienced and well-learned in the field of physics, and he is able to clearly explain even very abstract concepts in ways that any student can understand. Compared to how my class taught certain concepts, Kyle was able to accomplish more for my learning in an hour than countless days of me struggling with online learning formats. He has a great, easygoing personality that makes any student feel comfortable with him, and it is clear that he not only has a passion for physics but also for teaching. He even offered to answer questions through email/ messages outside of our lessons in case I needed review on a topic, and he is incredibly considerate and consistent with his responses and scheduled lessons. He genuinely wants his students to learn the concepts as well as how to apply them to problem sets, and is not only academically smart but also provides great advice on studying habits (which also actually made a huge difference for me!). I cannot recommend Kyle enough- every lesson will genuinely be worth every minute you pay for, and although he wasn't my actual teacher or professor, he is arguably one of the best educators I've had the privilege to learn from. Thank you so so much Kyle!!
