There is nothing more rewarding than helping a student learn language through reading, writing and conversation. I really enjoy meeting people from all over the world who want to learn.

I have always chosen careers where I helped others and fed my curiosity about the world around me. Before I was an ESL teacher and tutor, I was an editor and writer in newspaper and television news. I have also been a business trainer and volunteer public speaker. Since childhood, I have pursued music, dancing and choral singing as a means of self-expression.

Communication and information, in all forms, are important in today's world. Literacy should also play a lead role. It often takes a back seat to math, science and technology, but it shouldn't. Literacy fosters emotional intelligence and critical thinking which are important skills to have as a global citizen. Our global economy requires workers and leaders who are adaptable and proficient in many diverse areas.

Knowledgeable and very friendly tutor

I had a lot of fun and it was very interesting to talk to Tracey. She quickly found out what can help me improve my English and how I can do a better job helping my students to get better, too.

Competent TOEFL tutor

Tracey is a competent English/TOEFL tutor. She helped me a lot to improved my grammar, pronunciation and comprehension. Also, she taught me how to narrow down and get the main idea/topic of the Speaking/Reading section in my TOEFL exam. Tracey is a good listener not only with regards to my concern about TOEFL exam, but also about my personal issues. She will guide and give you the right tool to ace the test, but still its up to us "students" to succeed. I am thankful for Tracey's help, I finally passed my TOEFL and working now as a Travel-RN.

Great tutor and great friend

She gave me a variety of ways to study English, reading books and comparing accents. Of course, she told me the importance of conversation in every class. I am learning from her a lot and it is my pleasure to have her as my tutor. You can study about vocabulary, idiom, and treat of voice tone. If you study with Tracey, you will have a smile on your face and there is no fear of English. Good luck!!!

Great tutor.

I'm really happy to have Tracy as my TOEFL tutor. She is helping me a lot preparing for my exam. From the first day she knew what my weak areas were and now we are working together to overcome those areas. I recommend Tracy because she is passionate about what she is doing.
