I have been a college writing teacher for over two years, which I absolutely love. I spend my free time writing fictional short stories and sketch comedy, which I perform in Improvisation courses. I am also very into acting courses as well, as the study of this craft fuels my fun, improvisational, personal teaching style. Over the years, I have tutored various ages of students in subjects from social studies to college-level calculus. I have also held private swimming lessons (I compete in triathlons, and swim recreationally for my own peace of mind). I love to dance, watch film, and discuss human interest issues that are universal to everyone (like why do people spit in public? Why do people have such trouble listening to their friends?). I am an informal person, and I take pride in the relationship that I build with my students, where they can be themselves and not feel as though they need to get answers "right."
