Hi! I'm Stephanie, and I love helping students gain confidence in math. As a tutor, my goal is to help students deeply understand math concepts so they can solve problems independently and feel confident tackling new challenges. I started tutoring when I was in eighth grade, and I have been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students ever since. I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to college.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. During undergrad, I was a TA for multiple STEM courses and an Ignite Teach for America tutor. After graduating in 2024, I conducted neuroscience research at the NIH for two years. This fall, I'll begin my Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Washington. I also got a 1500 on the SAT, and I'd love to work with students who are preparing for standardized tests. In addition to my formal teaching experience, I have privately tutored many elementary, middle, and high school students, and I have volunteered as a tutor and classroom TA at the Seattle World School.

As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I am always happy to explain concepts in many different ways until they click. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes throughout the learning process.

Whether you're preparing for the upcoming school year, studying for the SAT or ACT, working through homework or problem sets, preparing for exams, or just hoping to strengthen your math skills, I'd love to help you achieve your goals!

I have been tutoring students in math since I was in eighth grade, and I love helping students learn math and gain confidence in their abilities. I have worked with students as young as kindergarten and as old as college and feel very comfortable with all ages and levels. My overarching goal is to take the fear out math, and I do this with patience and careful listening and by paying attention to where students are missing skills and then filling those gaps. I have tutored students of all ages in math at the Seattle World School, through private tutoring, and through Ignite Teach for America. During undergrad at the University of Notre Dame, I was also a TA for multiple STEM courses. I just spent the past two years conducting neuroscience research at the NIH, and I will be pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at UW in the fall. I love the learning process and am excited to share my enthusiasm by helping others learn!
