Hi! I'm a civil engineering graduate and experienced math tutor who helps students build strong foundations and lasting confidence in math.

I work with students from elementary school through Algebra 1, focusing on turning confusion and frustration into clarity and independence. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to make sure they truly understand the material so they can succeed on their own.
I have a BSE in Civil Engineering and a strong math background, including advanced coursework and a 5 on the AP Calculus exam. Beyond that, I've gained hands-on teaching experience working at Mathnasium, serving as a private teacher for three homeschooled elementary students across all subjects, and tutoring a variety of students with different learning needs. This has helped me become patient, adaptable, and effective with a wide range of learners.

My teaching style is supportive and engaging. I guide students through problems by asking questions and encouraging critical thinking, while also adjusting to a more structured, step-by-step approach when needed. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor each session to fit their pace and style.
