I recently graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and I have a strong foundation in math, business concepts, and effective study strategies. Throughout college and while preparing for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, I developed structured approaches to learning that focus on simplifying complex topics and building long-term understanding rather than short-term memorization.
While I may not have formal classroom teaching experience, I’ve spent a lot of time helping peers and classmates break down difficult concepts into manageable steps. My approach is very practical and patient—I focus on meeting students where they are, identifying what’s not clicking, and then explaining it in a way that actually makes sense to them. I also emphasize organization, time management, and study habits, which are often just as important as the material itself.
I work well with high school and college-level students, especially in subjects like basic math, algebra, and business-related topics. I’m also a great fit for students who struggle with focus, staying organized, or getting started with studying, because I’ve personally developed systems to overcome those challenges. My goal is to help students not only improve their performance, but also build confidence and independence in how they learn.
