My approach goes beyond grammar and structure. I ask the questions that pull out what's actually worth saying, the narrative thread you didn't know was there. Clients describe the process as collaborative, probing, and surprisingly personal. One recent law school applicant said she felt confident about her final draft for the first time, and that I helped her find an angle she never would have thought of on her own.

I also work with non-native English speakers on graduate and professional school applications.

Amazing personal statement for a law school application!!!

I reached out to Philip to edit my personal statement for law school. Through probing I went in a different direction. I am 100% glad I did. He was able to pull something out of me that I never would have thought of. I was struggling with my narrative and he helped me find the right angle. He helped me find my authentic voice in my statement. I felt very confident about the final draft. He went above and beyond even doing research in his free time regarding my topic.
