I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and have over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching students in a variety of subjects, including biology, chemistry, and math at the college level, as well as clinical pharmacy and NAPLEX preparation. Before starting my residency, I delivered three formal lectures at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, which fueled my passion for education. I later pursued a Teaching Certificate from the University of Arizona during my postgraduate residency, where I received structured training in instructional strategies, assessment, and learner-centered teaching.
Throughout my academic and professional career, I’ve worked with students of all ages from high school through graduate-level pharmacy programs in both one on one and group settings. I understand firsthand what it’s like to struggle; I’ve failed before, and I know how discouraging it can feel. That experience has made me a more compassionate and effective tutor. My approach is rooted in patience, kindness, and encouragement. I focus not just on helping students understand the material, but also on building their confidence. I love hearing that a student passed an exam they once felt impossible and I’m here to help them get there by learning from both my strengths and my mistakes.
