Hi, I’m a software engineer at Amazon with a passion for helping others learn how to think like real programmers — not just memorize code. I started programming in 8th grade, and I’ve been mentoring and teaching ever since. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, earning a 3.78 GPA, which laid the foundation for my career and my love for teaching.
In college, I was a top-reviewed TA for intro programming and data structures courses, where I not only ran office hours but also led discussion sections twice a week, teaching new topics and helping students solidify complex concepts. Since graduating, I’ve worked at Amazon on high-impact teams in orgs like financial technology and global logistics, mentoring interns and new hires while designing and building real-world systems across backend and full-stack projects.
I especially enjoy working with younger students — middle schoolers, high schoolers, and early college students — but I also work with adult learners and bootcamp grads who are new to programming. My teaching style is all about breaking things down clearly, helping you build intuition and confidence, and learning how to problem-solve like an engineer. I believe in understanding the "why" behind the code, fostering critical thinking and debugging skills, rather than just memorizing syntax.
If you're ready to build a solid foundation in Computer Science and truly enjoy the learning process, I’d love to work with you. My focus is on helping you become a confident programmer, not just prepping for algorithm interviews. Sessions are virtual and I'm flexible with scheduling.
