I have tutored a wide variety of subjects. For college students, I have experience tutoring 100-level Algebra, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology. For high school students, I have tutored Algebra, Biology, and Chemistry. For Middle-school aged students, I have tutored in basic sciences, math, and English.
I have more recently done most of my teaching through Zoom, but have also had experiences teaching in the classroom setting, in small groups 4-5, and doing in-person 1:1 sessions. My preferred teaching method is to use guided questions to assess where a student's understanding is at, and slowly lead them to the answer, helping them understand the material rather than memorize it.
