As an Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Washington (2024) with AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate and Cloud Practitioner), I bring both technical expertise and teaching experience to my tutoring practice. My academic background includes extensive coursework in Computer Programming (Java), Programming for Signal and Information Processing Applications (Python), and various engineering disciplines, enabling me to effectively tutor in these technical areas.

My tutoring experience stems from my role as an Engineering Success Coach at the University of Washington, where I worked with undergraduate engineering students throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. In this position, I developed and implemented personalized tutoring strategies that led to improved academic performance among my students. I employ a hands-on, problem-solving approach, breaking down complex concepts into manageable components and using real-world examples to reinforce learning. Additionally, my experience as an Event Coordinator for the African Student Association has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of students.

My teaching methodology combines theoretical understanding with practical application, drawing from my industry experience at AWS and Phoenix Contact. I specialize in one-on-one tutoring sessions with college-level students, focusing on engineering fundamentals, programming languages, and cloud computing concepts. Being trilingual in English, Yoruba, and Pidgin enables me to connect with students from various backgrounds and explain concepts in ways that resonate with their understanding. Through my involvement with the National Society of Black Engineers, I've also gained experience in group tutoring settings, particularly in helping underrepresented students navigate technical subjects.
