Professional Violinist and Teacher of All Ages

Naomi F.

Hello! My name is Naomi, and I am a violinist and educator with a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance. Music has been a huge part of my life for many years, and I am passionate about helping students grow both technically and artistically. Over the past six years, I have taught private violin lessons to students ages 8 and older, working with a variety of skill levels ranging from beginners to more advanced players. In addition to private instruction, I have served as a clinician in middle and high school settings, leading sectionals, coaching students on orchestral repertoire, and helping prepare students for auditions and performance assessments.

My teaching approach is individualized to each student's goals, experience level, and learning style. I believe that strong fundamentals are essential, so I focus on developing solid technique, good practice habits, and musical confidence while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Whether a student is preparing for an audition, working toward a school performance, or simply learning for personal enjoyment, I strive to make lessons both engaging and rewarding.

As a performer, I have extensive experience in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings, and I enjoy sharing the knowledge and skills I have gained through my musical training with my students. My goal is not only to help students improve their violin playing, but also to foster a lifelong appreciation for music and the confidence that comes from mastering new challenges.
