I have 5+ years of experience tutoring/mentoring middle school, high school, and undergraduate students in a 1-on-1 and group setting for math classes, computer science classes, and standardized test prep. Some of my biggest successes as a tutor have been in times when students overcame failing grades to pass their classes with high scores, turning hesitation into confidence for a student's next exam or homework assignment, and increasing their standardized test scores beyond what a student believed was possible for them. Rather than giving the solutions directly, I emphasize conceptual understandings and natural inquiries to discover answers independently.
