As a junior at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing dual degrees in Applied Math and Computer Science, along with a minor in software engineering and computational finance, my passion for teaching parallels my dedication to academic excellence, reflected in my current GPA of 3.92. My journey into education began during high school, where I served as a teaching assistant at a local elementary school. This initial experience ignited my enthusiasm for guiding learners, prompting me to continue this path in college.

At CMU, I've had the privilege of contributing as a Peer Tutor for courses in Functional Programming, Linear Algebra, Mathematical Concepts & Proofs, and Differential Equations. I've also taken on the role of a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, facilitating sessions for Linear Algebra and Mathematical Concepts & Proofs. These roles have allowed me to tailor my teaching methodologies to diverse learning styles, providing weekly SI sessions and peer tutoring to demystify complex concepts.

Through personalized approaches and interactive sessions, I aim to foster an environment where students feel empowered to grasp challenging topics. My teaching philosophy emphasizes not only conveying subject matter expertise but also cultivating critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for academic success.

I take pride in my ability to connect with students across various age groups, leveraging my experience in both classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Witnessing students' growth and confidence as they conquer difficult concepts fuels my commitment to education. Moreover, I continuously refine my teaching strategies to adapt to evolving educational landscapes, ensuring students receive the best support possible.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply my diverse teaching experiences, academic background, and dedication to empowering students to excel in their educational pursuits.
