I have experience tutoring ages ranging from middle schoolers to adults. I am most enthusiastic about language tutoring in Latin and ancient Greek. My approach is reading-oriented with a focus on grammar and syntax throughout.
As a PhD student I have enjoyed teaching undergraduates in classes such as Latin and Greek in Current Use and Bioscientific Vocabulary, emphasizing the large influence both of these ancient languages have on contemporary life and the English language. I've also taught both in the classroom and synchronously via Zoom, including an intensive ancient Greek course this summer.
