Latin Teacher Looking to Tutor Students of All Ages

Hi, I'm Nicole, and I'm a full-time freelance Latin tutor. I have a Bachelor's in Classical Literature and Language from Hofstra University as well as Master's in the same subject from University of Washington. At University of Washington, I primarily taught Classics 101 and Bioscientific Vocabulary, where we learned Latin and Greek roots that are used for medical terminology and common English. From 2016-2018 I was a Latin teacher for 5th and 6th grade at Basis.ed.

In addition to my formal teaching, I have tutored Latin and Ancient Greek since 2015. I have tutored college students, middle school students, and high school students in all levels of Latin. I love working with students to understand how the language fits together to improve translation skills. I can also help with memory techniques for learning noun and verb forms.

I have been tutoring Latin since 2015 and was a middle school Latin teacher from 2016-2018. I have worked with students of all ages, and have experience with students both one-on-one and in a classroom setting. I have 1,000+ hours of tutoring experience over multiple platforms, both in-person and online.

I love working with students to find out how they learn best and to adapt my tutoring to their needs! Latin tutoring is a passion of mine, and I hope to spread my enthusiasm for the subject to my students to get them to where they want to be in their studies.
