My major in college was Political Science. Many of the classes I enjoyed included Political Parties, International Governments, Terrorism and Nuclear Proliferation and Inner City Politics. After I graduated, I ran as a write-in candidate for a local city council seat. I currently tutor middle and high-school students in political science as it pertains to their studies. This interaction ranges from helping with speeches and debates to discussing the different political and governmental differences among countries to the discussion of history.

Explains Math very well!

My son continues to improve his math skills since Stephen has been his tutor . His soft spoken demeanor and teaching style makes it easy for my son to learn. We are very happy with Stephen and the progress my son has made!

Stephen really helped me with Excel and Word

Because I use both Excel and Word in my work, I know a lot about both programs, but needed to learn how to use the special features, and how to get rid of the intrusive settings and so forth in order to format things the way I want them. We hit it off very well, and I may call on him for a refresher in the future. Thanks for taking the time to understand my needs.

Great for every subject!

Steve has been a great fit for my brother, who is a sophomore doing Connections Academy. He has helped with many subjects including geometry, biology, and English and has helped him develop study and research skills. Geometry has been our biggest struggle, and Steve is able to explain it in a way that my brother understands which is invaluable! So glad we found Steve, and we will continue to have him come 2-3 times per week.
