Hello,
I have been an Educational Sign Language Interpreter for 10 years now, interpreting mostly for secondary students in all subjects. I took two years of ASL at Seattle Central Community College and two years at The American Sign Language Institute of Seattle where I also took classes in deaf culture. While I was going to school I worked full time almost exclusively with deaf adults. I learned so much from them and realize the importance of socializing with the deaf community...

Excellent lesson!
Wendy taught our whole family and did an excellent job of balancing the levels of experience and making it an enjoyable lesson. We all learned a lot! I would highly recommend her. She also mixed in cultural lessons into the class, which was helpful for those of us that had not been exposed to ASL and the culture of the deaf community previously.

Highly recommended
My daughter reports Wendy is doing a great job helping her with ASL. Wendy loves ASL, has a great philosophy, and is really enthusiastic about helping others learn. Wendy has been really easy to work with. She has been flexible about scheduling and location and stayed in touch to ensure we are on the same page. I would highly recommend Wendy as a tutor for ASL!

Great Tutor!!!
Very precise and knows exactly how to help each student succeed! With having experience in ASL numerous years ago she has really helped to refresh the basic knowledge and help me excel in my current class.
