Patient Tutor with Clinical and Public Health Background

My name is Deborah K. As a tutor, I hope to correct any problems in the student's learning, try to overcome any future barriers in the student's learning, and encourage motivation in the problem subject as well as general study skills. Being a recent student myself, I hope to be able to relate to students based on my recent scholastic experience.

As an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, I majored with a degree in Jewish Studies. Therefore, I have a strong humanities background. At the same time, I decided to switch career paths and become a Physician Assistant. I was an EMT-Basic for two years and have completed graduate coursework in PA school. Additionally, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate program in high school and graduated fifth in my class with a strong math background. In August, 2025, I graduated with my Masters in Public Health with an epidemiology concentration.
