I am a Virginia-licensed K-6 teacher with 7 years of teaching experience in elementary education. I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University and a TESOL certification. I have worked extensively with ESL students, children with IEPs, and students with reading disabilities, including dyslexia. I also have experience supporting homeschool families and can assist with curriculum selection and implementation.

I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and specialize in structured literacy instruction. I am also trained in Reading Simplified, a phono-graphix, speech to print reading program. In addition, I have completed advanced coursework in reading disorders and strategies for lesson engagement.

I offer tutoring in reading, writing, spelling, handwriting, math, social studies, science, study skills, and test prep for students in PreK–6th grade. My lessons are engaging, individualized, and designed for measurable growth, with a strong focus on building both academic skills and student confidence.
