Hello! My name is Diana, and I am an experienced educator with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years, with expertise in mathematics, Spanish, and business-related subjects.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Pedagogical Sciences in Cuba and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Havana. Currently, I am a senior at West Texas A&M University, completing my Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. My diverse educational background allows me to support students across various subjects with a well-rounded and practical approach.

I spent 17 years teaching in Cuba, beginning with elementary education before transitioning to middle school math and then high school math. This experience gave me a deep understanding of how students develop their mathematical thinking at different stages, allowing me to adjust my teaching methods accordingly. Since moving to the United States (6 years ago), I have been tutoring Spanish and Business courses at the college level, as well as math subjects for students from elementary through high school.

My teaching style is personalized, patient, and engaging. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on adapting lessons to fit individual learning styles, reinforcing fundamental concepts, and building confidence. Whether it’s breaking down complex math problems, strengthening Spanish language skills, or guiding students through business and accounting concepts, I strive to make learning accessible and enjoyable.
