I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in School Psychology at Baylor University, where I study learning, behavior, and assessment through both coursework and hands-on practicum experience. I also work as an Academic Mentor in my university’s Student Success Center, where I meet one-on-one with undergraduates to help them strengthen study strategies, improve time management, and build confidence in their academic abilities. This role has allowed me to support students across a range of subjects and learning styles, emphasizing both academic growth and self-confidence.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have extensive experience assisting with academic writing: helping students brainstorm ideas, organize essays, and proofread for clarity and grammar. In addition to psychology and writing, I tutor American History and Government, subjects I developed a strong foundation in through college coursework and a congressional internship during high school, which gave me firsthand insight into U.S. political processes and civic institutions.
Outside of academics, I trained in ballet at a competitive level for 12 years, which instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, focus, and attention to detail. My approach is supportive, structured, and encouraging. Whether I’m guiding students through psychology material, historical concepts, essay writing, or study skills, I work to make learning approachable and rewarding. My goal is to help students not only succeed in their current coursework but also develop confidence and strategies for lifelong learning.
