During my time at Baylor, I have tutored many K-12 students, often focusing in English and government. I also have experience teaching elementary math and science. I understood from the beginning that no two students learn the exact same. I take pride in spending time creating individual lesson plans for the methods each student learns best. I am also more than happy to provide extra work if they would like to practice, which I write myself.
I have taught largely in one-on-one sessions. Many students struggle in a classroom environment because it is catered toward basic learning processes, which many students find challenging. By teaching one-on-one, this allows you student to be the focus of all of my attention. I have been using this method to tutor for over 3 years now and have seen great improvement in my students during their time with me.
