Incredible Tutor for both PreCal & Calculus

My son, a senior in high school, was extremely fortunate to have Bill tutor him in both Honors PreCal and Honors Calculus. He tutored him twice a week during the second semester of Calc.Today, I'm sending Bill a big virtual hug, because my son~with time and hard work~was able to achieve a final grade in Honors Calc that he didn't think he'd be able to achieve. Bill is extremely organized, dedicated, and goes the extra mile for those he tutors. My son struggled on Calc assessments, so Bill made him some practice assessments to help him gain more confidence in taking assessments and to help him gain familiarity with course content. My son was discouraged sometimes about his performance, but Bill was encouraging and reminded our son that he is a capable student. Our son made a 50% on a test, but~with Bill's help~ was able to get an 80% on the next test. Bill was wonderful to give an update after each lesson re: what was accomplished, what still needed to be worked on, and he would make sure my son had whiteboards and recorded lessons to review. Bill is a gifted tutor and a caring individual and was always prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. This is why we sought him out again after he first tutored our son in PreCal. We are incredibly grateful that he helped our son to successfully complete the courses and we hope our son has learned a lesson he will carry with him to college. When you need assistance, you must seek it and be willing to work. We highly recommend Bill as a tutor!

Excellent ACT Tutor

I had taken the ACT once and made perfect scores on reading and English, but felt I could improve my math and science scores (28 and 31, respectively). Bill Frome helped me do just that. On the second attempt, I maintained my perfect scores and increased my math score to 29 and science score to 33. Bill was an excellent tutor. He was kind and took time to explain concepts where needed while not wasting any time. His style is efficient and easy to follow. I considered my tutoring sessions with Bill well worth the time and money.

Excellent tutor!

My daughter took the ACT test in September 2022 and scored well in Reading and English, but she found the Math and Science sections of the ACT challenging. She loves the humanities, and she is not a natural standardized test taker, so we were not surprised with her scores. As she started her college search over the past year, we found many of the test optional schools had student applicants submitting standardized test scores only when they were in the upper percentile. We reached out to Bill F. to arrange for ACT tutoring in the Math and Science sections over the course of this past summer. He was excellent. My daughter found his tutoring easy to understand and immensely helpful. Bill tutored equally in Math and Science, provided practice exams, recorded all of her lessons to review at a later date and sent his white board calculations for review. He paced out the summer nicely to prepare our daughter for the September ACT, and he was flexible with her summer schedule. She just received her scores today. She improved both her Science and Math from scores of 28 and 30 to scores of 32 and 34 giving her a composite score of 34 on the ACT. Thank you Bill for all of your support.
