Space Engineer experienced with STEM education

I hold a PhD in Aerospace Sciences and two degrees in Mechanical Engineering, which have given me a deep foundation in math, physics, and engineering concepts. My educational journey was enriched by teaching opportunities during my PhD, where I led university-level Space Studies classes. This experience allowed me to work closely with undergraduate and graduate students, honing my ability to explain complex topics in an engaging and accessible way. Additionally, during my undergraduate studies, I completed education courses that provided me with hands-on teaching experience in elementary and middle school classrooms. This early exposure taught me how to adapt my teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning styles.

Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about STEM outreach. I actively volunteer at Space Center Houston and with the Mars Society, sharing my love for space exploration and inspiring students of all ages to pursue science and technology careers. My outreach work has further strengthened my ability to connect with diverse audiences, making challenging STEM subjects approachable and exciting.

In my tutoring, I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding and fostering problem-solving skills. I tailor my approach to each student, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement while creating a supportive learning environment. Whether it's breaking down complex equations, offering real-world examples to make abstract concepts relatable, or providing encouragement to build confidence, I aim to empower my students to reach their full potential. I look forward to helping learners of all ages achieve their academic and personal goals in STEM.
