Computer Science

I am currently a software engineer at Codesmith, more specifically for the CS Engineering division. My role at Codesmith is unique in that I split my time engineering and mentoring junior engineers. On the engineering front, I work across the full stack in React, Redux, TypeScript, Express, SQL (wrapped in an ORM), and implement testing and RESTful API’s. I utilized Docker to develop in a containerized environment. On the mentorship side, I conduct technical training on the fundamental aspects of engineering. I help junior engineers develop applications and launch them on AWS utilizing services like EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, and IAM as well as containerizing applications and services.

Music Theory

I received a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education from the University Houston. Additionally, I am a licensed teacher and currently teach in the Houston area. I have completed over 15 hours of graduate level Music Theory courses during my undergraduate years.
