Hi! I’m currently a Neuroscience major (with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology) at Texas A&M University with an Honors minor, on the pre-med track with a strong academic background in math and the sciences. My coursework has given me a solid foundation in subjects ranging from algebra through AP Calculus BC, as well as high school and AP-level chemistry and biology. I’ve consistently performed at a high level in these areas, which is part of what motivated me to start helping other students build the same confidence and clarity.
I’ve been tutoring for several years in both structured and informal settings, supporting classmates, younger students, and peers in one-on-one formats. My approach is patient, supportive, and rooted in figuring out how each student thinks so we can break concepts down in a way that actually makes sense to them. I focus on building strong problem-solving habits, improving conceptual understanding, and giving students strategies they can rely on long term instead of memorizing steps.
Most of my experience has been with elementary, middle school, and high school students, both in volunteer environments and individual sessions. I’m comfortable tutoring math from kindergarten through twelfth grade, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and AP Calculus BC, as well as high school chemistry, AP Chemistry, and high school biology. I’m always willing to adapt my style to what each student needs, and I genuinely enjoy making challenging subjects feel manageable and even enjoyable.
