I am an Immunologist by training with a PhD in Microbiology. I have been teaching medical and biomedical students in the area of immunology and cancer biology for quite a number of years. I am also an education expert who specializes in the health sciences. I have experience in curriculum, different types of teaching (pedagogy), adult learning and much more. I have been developing a recent course on learning how to learn which helps students overcome their weaknesses when studying and helps them become more efficient life long learners. I am very passionate about seeing students perform well in exams but more importantly in understanding what they are learning and being able to apply it well.

My many years experience makes me a good tutor. My fun but serious attitude is also a plus. I like to make someone smile even if they are studying things they do not like so much!

Honestly, I don’t know what would’ve happened without Charles!! I was so confused reading my research paper regarding breast cancer and I kept rereading it and still had no clue what the research project was about and I also had no clue on interpreting the data and results before Charles! He is such a patient and great tutor that came prepared and read the whole research paper before the meeting and explained it very well from the beginning of the paper till the end of it!!
