Starting in 1985 (at the beginning of the computing era) I spent almost 20 years as a Software Engineer working for companies like Digital Switch, Motorola and Texas Instruments. I developed software for mainframes, pcs, pagers, cell phones, and other custom-built systems like phone switches and calculators. In 2005, I began a 20 year career as a High School Teacher teaching AP & Regular: Physics, Chemistry, Math, Robotics & Computer courses.
After having taught thousands of students, I firmly believe I can help anyone understand if they wish to do so. I will lay it out logically and tell you what you need to do to improve.
As a teacher I also sponsored UIL Math, Calculator, Number Sense and Science competitions for 18 years. I've taught ACT and SAT Test Preparation courses. I have designed multiple course curriculums, and helped all from Gifted and Talented students to those with learning disabilities. I am patient, and will find a way to help you understand.
